No-Cost Business Services

Workforce Development (WDS) Staff and Partners provide no-cost training to public and private businesses:

  • Disability/Diversity Awareness Workshops

    The Windmills program is designed for Human Resources, hiring managers and supervisors to successfully integrate persons with disabilities into the workforce.

  • Disability Etiquette Training

    Tips on interacting with people with disabilities.

  • Job Site Accommodation Consultation

    Technical support provided to assess the needs of a newly hired employee with a disability or an employee who becomes disabled.

  • Disability Employment Law Training

    Knowledgeable trainers provide in-depth training on the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Employment Training Panel (ETP)

The Employment Training Panel (ETP) provides funding to employers to assist in upgrading the skills of their workers through training that leads to good paying, long-term jobs.

California Workforce Association (CWA)

If you are looking for no-cost supports to help hire or train people with disabilities we are a part of American Jobs Center of California (AJCC) In 2018, CWA is coordinating Statewide Disability Services Training across the State of California focusing on programmatic and physical accessibility to the AJCCs for individuals with disabilities.
