Services for Employers
If an employee becomes disabled, where can an employer go for help? In many cases, the employee may be eligible for Department of Rehabilitation services. If so, we can provide technical support and expertise in assessing the needs of the employee and assist them in remaining on the job.
DOR can work with employers to fulfill their staffing needs
The Department of Rehabilitation and our community partners can match business staffing needs with skilled, educated, and motivated workers from our client base. Our support services can continue after placement. We want to ensure that businesses get a productive employee and that both the client and company achieve success.
Other Services
The Department of Rehabilitation works with a variety of programs that offer services to individuals with disabilities.
Independent Living Centers
Funded by the Department of Rehabilitation, twenty-nine centers provide information and referral services to people with disabilities. Their purpose is to assist individuals to live active, independent lives.
