DISABILITY AWARENESS AND ETIQUETTE TRAINING

Explore myths and misconceptions that create barriers for employees and customers with a disability. Learn best practices for serving and communicating with individuals with disabilities.
As a result of attending this training, participants will be able to:
- Successfully include persons with disabilities as an excellent labor resource.
- Focus on human factors, concerns, and issues related to legal requirements and accommodation.
- Provides effective ways to communicate with people with disabilities.
Recommended for staff and supervisors who may have contact or work on the behalf of persons with disabilities.
This is a two-hour training.
Cost Per Person
$175.00 per person
Zoom is a communications platform for video, voice, content sharing, and chat that runs across mobile devices, desktops, telephones, and room systems.
Zoom Help for first time users
Registration for all DAS trainings is first come, first served basis.
For registration, please have your supervisor complete this registration form with automatic submission.
Please submit one registration per student, per class.
If the class is held over multiple days, you only need to register for the first day in the series.

Invoices will be sent the day after attendance of the training with payment instructions. Per State Administrative Manual Chapter 9, payment is due within 45 days of receipt.
