The American Indian Advisory Council (AIAC) is a collaboration between California's American Indian community and the Department of Rehabilitation. Our mission is to inform, empower, and link those American Indians living with physical and mental disabilities to resources and services that will assist and support their employment and self-sufficiency. Through this collaboration between agencies, the following information can be shared:

  • Native American culture, events, & resources
  • Education and employment opportunities
  • Technological aids and devices
  • Health services such as diabetes, depression, and chemical dependency

The Santa Barbara District is a proud sponsor of the AIAC and it's support of the cultures and traditions of the American Indian people. For more information contact the AIAC Coordinator.
