CALIFORNIA TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY (TBI) ADVISORY BOARD
The California Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Board ("Board") advises state leadership on policies, programs, and services impacting people with TBI, their families, and support systems. The California TBI Advisory Board was established within and under the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Reauthorization Act of 2014 and the Federal Administration for Community Living (ACL).
Advisory board members will work together to:

Develop a TBI State Registry for better tracking incidents and the need for longer-term services and supports across the state;
Conduct a comprehensive review and analysis of the services, supports, and other assistance available to people with TBI, as well as the extent of any unmet needs;
Identify funding mechanisms to support community TBI services and continuation of the TBI Advisory Board.
Members shall be appointed by the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) Directorate with recommendations from the Board Chair.
