Benefits to Independence 101
This self-paced program is designed for individuals receiving Social Security benefits who want to explore employment and improve their financial future. Whether you receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI), this program helps you move from feeling unsure to making informed choices.
Depending on which disability benefits you receive, your course will consist of up to 19 sessions, each approximately one hour in length. Sessions build on each other, offering a clear understanding of work incentives, benefit protections, and strategies for success.
Each session includes a PowerPoint presentation, engaging activities, and useful resources to help reinforce your learning. By the end of the program, you will be well-prepared to pursue employment with confidence and build a solid financial foundation.
