Hello my name is Maria Rivera. I am a Student Services Counselor at the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) in the Greater Los Angeles District. I work with youth from ages 16-21 years old, at varies high schools in the Los Angeles area. Our services consist of 5 core elements that will help students succeed in their career goals and job placement. My goal is to see the youth I work with accomplish their goals and prepare them for their future career.

Hello, my name is Renée and I have been with the Department of Rehabilitation since 2014. I have been one of the Student Services Coordinator for the Potentially Eligible (PE) Program since 2018. My primary responsibility is visiting schools and presenting five (5) core services to students ages 16 – 22 years of age that will enhance their preparation for their future career and or work life after high school.

Hello, my name is Traci. I am the Student Services Counselor at the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) Greater Los Angeles District office. I work primarily with high school and college students ages 16-21. I work with students throughout LAUSD, with Charter schools in the area, and currently, We Can Work contract for LAUSD. I have more than two years of experience, having served as an intern with DOR at the Victorville Branch Office (Blind Field Services) and intern/volunteer as an ACCESS Counselor with Victor Valley College. I have expertise with ACCESS Department’s Disabled Students Program assisting students with reaching their educational goals. I possess excellent counseling experience in categorical and special programs.
